Seismic Generosity
The Joyful Art of Living for Something Bigger
When we behold the generosity of God — grace we could never earn, mercy we could never repay, love we could never exhaust — the heart begins to loosen its grip.
Seismic Generosity is an invitation to live from that overflow: to see what God has entrusted to us as sacred stewardship and to let His compassion move through our time, resources, voice, opportunities, and open hands.
Not giving from guilt. Not generosity as performance. But worship with feet.
This is where being held begins to open outward. Mercy is the taproot. Generosity is the fruit.
Where it begins
The Overflow of Grace
We give because God has given. We love because we are deeply loved. Every open hand begins here—not with pressure, scarcity, or the need to prove something, but with the lavish grace of God already received.
He is the God who sees the poor, lifts the lowly, binds up the brokenhearted, and multiplies what seems too small. When His mercy becomes weighty in us, generosity becomes less an obligation and more an overflow.
First at the eyes
Mercy-Motivated Giving
Seismic Generosity enters the story—not first at the hand, but at the eyes. Mercy is not merely one reason we give. It is meant to become part of the heart from which we give.
As we behold the mercy of God toward us—and learn to see others through His compassionate gaze—the needs of people cease to be abstractions. Mercy draws us near. It interrupts indifference. It loosens self-protection. And generosity becomes mercy made tangible.
Behold God’s mercy so deeply that your heart changes what it treasures—and generosity begins to grow from the kind of person you are becoming.
Compassion on mission
Love Cannot Sit Still
Seismic Generosity refuses a faith that stays seated when love should rise. It teaches us to notice the overlooked, remember the forgotten, and move toward need with compassion.
This is not pity. It is compassion on mission—love willing to become practical, costly, joyful, and present. It asks not merely, “What do I feel?” but, “What has love placed within reach of my hands?”
Entrusted, not owned
Stewardship Is Bigger Than Money
Generosity includes money, but it is never confined to money. Our time. Our voice. Our opportunities. Our influence. Our abilities. Our possessions. Our attention. The very lives we have been given.
They are His, entrusted to us to steward. And when we offer them back in grateful obedience, stewardship becomes surrender—and surrender becomes worship.
What lasts
Treasure with Eternity in Its Eyes
Jesus calls us to store up treasure in Heaven, because where our treasure is, our hearts follow. Seismic Generosity keeps eternity in view so that the temporary does not quietly become ultimate.
True treasure is not built in one dramatic moment. It is formed through a lifetime of holy yeses—one act of generosity, one surrendered resource, one unseen obedience at a time.
The heart learns to value what Heaven values—and little by little, we begin to live for what lasts.
More than a name
A Movement of Open Hands
Seismic Generosity is more than a name and more than a future podcast. It is a holy movement of hearts awakened by grace and lives poured out for what lasts.
It calls disciples of Christ to live simply so others may simply live; to let comfort give way to compassion; to become channels of grace, bearers of hope, and joyful stewards whose lives echo with eternity.
The vision is beautifully simple: receive deeply, see clearly, love freely, steward faithfully, and let the life God has given become a sacred echo of the grace He has already poured out.
Inward vision, outward expression
Where the Fire Becomes Tangible
Beholding God's mercy changes not only what we see, but how we live. As His compassion takes deeper root in our hearts, it begins to shape our priorities, loosen our grip on temporal things, and open our hands toward others.
That conviction finds two distinct yet complementary expressions in Seismic Generosity and Heart In Heaven.
Seismic Generosity — The Movement
Seismic Generosity is a developing movement calling disciples of Christ to a transformed way of seeing and living. Rooted in the revelation of God's mercy, it seeks to awaken hearts to the joy and eternal significance of open-handed generosity—not as obligation or performance, but as the overflow of lives increasingly captivated by Christ.
It asks: Who are we becoming in response to God's mercy?
Heart In Heaven — The Mission
Heart In Heaven gives compassion tangible expression. Through Christ-centered discipleship, education, vocational training, and sustainable community development, this nonprofit ministry works to create pathways out of poverty, restore dignity, and expand opportunities—primarily in Liberia.
It asks: What does mercy look like when it becomes action in the world?
One Source. Two Expressions. Eternal Purpose.
Seismic Generosity seeks to shape the heart and inspire open-handed living. Heart In Heaven translates compassion into practical opportunities for lasting transformation.
They are distinct in purpose, yet united by one foundational conviction: Generosity begins not with what we give, but with beholding the God whose mercy has so lavishly been poured out upon us.
As we behold Him, our hearts are transformed. And as our hearts are transformed, His love increasingly flows through our lives toward others.
From revelation to formation. From formation to expression. From expression to eternal impact.
All for the glory of God.

Generosity is not merely an action to take. It is a life God forms. Some truths are meant to be read slowly. Some become practices. Some help us recognize the particular ways God has shaped us to respond. These resources are invitations to let mercy travel more deeply—from what we behold in God into what we treasure, how we steward, and how we live.

The Heart Behind the Flame
Months before Seismic Generosity had a name, a question began pressing on my heart:
What luxuries can you live without to provide what others will die without?
It was never meant as a guilt-laced accusation. It was a grace-drenched invitation—to look again at what God has entrusted to us, to remember what lasts, and to ask what love has placed within reach.
True treasure is in Heaven. And it is not built in one dramatic moment, but one generous act at a time.
Whether your joy is bubbling over or barely flickering, you are welcome here. The invitation is not to perform generosity, but to behold the Giver, receive His grace, and let mercy keep opening the heart.
Will you join me in the joyful art of living for something bigger?
Come live open-handed
Behold the Giver. Receive His grace. Let love lead. And let the life He holds become a life poured out for what lasts.
There is room in this fire for your flame.
